2021 - A difficult year for Burgundy
The 2021 vintage was not only a difficult one for winemakers in Burgundy. A late frost and some difficult weather kept the season under control. The crop was small...very small. For this reason, there are unfortunately only 2 barrels from the 2021 vintage at Maison Meyer. We're talking about rare 580 bottles! This not only hurts our hearts, but also all the new friends who are so longingly waiting for the wines.
With the 2021 vintage, the wines are now being exported to Denmark, Canada, Austria and Georgia in addition to the USA and China. This means that the allocation per customer is expected to be very small. We apologize for any inconvenience. A little outlook and consolation... with the 2022 vintage, production was increased significantly and it will be exciting.
